Welcome To DeafMortgage.com - How It Works

In order to ensure effective processing of your mortgage loan, please note the information provided below.

  1. To apply online, please see the directions on how to register and log on at “Apply Online”.  After completing the short form, click on submit at the end of the form.  We will review all of your information and contact you in order discuss our recommendations and your options. We will customize a loan program (s) that will best suit your needs.
  2. You may contact us via video phone/video phone relay for us to assist you in completing the application. We will provide you with a short list of documents that every underwriter will need to see. Our fax number is 1-301-222-0862. If you prefer to mail the documentation, please mail PHOTOCOPIES only; and not original documents. Or, you can email them to us.
  3. After the application is complete, we will arrange an appraisal, and coordinate the date (s) and time with you, and submit the file to the underwriting department.
  4. Once the loan has been processed and approved, we will contact you again to arrange a settlement, with a local settlement attorney.  Again, at the settlement meeting, you will be provided with qualified interpreter.  You may also select the interpreter of your choice.  Let us know, so that we may make payment.
  5. Upon approval and settlement, the loan will be funded and you will receive your money.   It is just that simple !!
